I have 18 years of experience with a strong emphasis in healthcare services, advocacy, individual and family therapy, hospice care, and grief therapy. I also have experience in bookkeeping, money management, and financial goal planning. My strengths include strong problem-solving skills and a deep desire to help people achieve their life goals. My interest in care management developed after seeing first-hand the difficult decisions families experience if a loved one has difficulty aging. I recognized the need for someone to assist in making sure the client’s voice is heard when facing the challenges accompanying loss of independence, declining health, and conflict with loved ones. My priority is allowing a person to maintain a strong sense of self-worth and dignity during the aging process. I hold a master’s degree in Social Work, am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Illinois, and completed my certificate in Financial Planning in 2008.
I currently reside in Geneva, IL with my husband of 24 years, two teen-aged children, and two lovable dogs. I spend many hours watching my children participate in their passions: basketball and hockey. I also enjoy volunteering, gardening, reading, cooking, and traveling.
