Growing up I was lucky enough to have a large extended family which included multiple great-aunts, great-uncles and grandmothers. Being able to help assist these family members as they aged became a passion to me. These experiences informed my desire to work within the aging field. My goal is to support individuals to age in ways that are meaningful and important to them. I am truly excited to work for Trinity Advocacy Group to forward their mission.
I worked as a pharmacy technician for over a decade where I was able to help individuals find ways to pay for their medications. I have also interned with CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services), and with Northshore Senior Center in their day program. Prior to coming to Trinity Advocacy Group, I worked for Catholic Charities Chicago Westside Senior Services where I assisted seniors in setting up caregiving assistance. I earned a BSW from Northeastern Illinois University and my Master’s degree from The University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration with a special focus on older adults.
Outside of work I am a member of the Oak Park River Forest Senior Services Committee which acts in an advisory capacity to the Township Board of Trustees for both communities. In my free time I enjoy traveling and spending time in nature. I also try to get back to northeast Ohio as often as I can to visit with my family.
